Job summary

pt merdeka copper gold tbk is seeking a Databases Senior Geologist to manage and improve geological data systems, ensuring accuracy, governance, and accessibility for exploration and mining operations.

Based in Jakarta and willing to travel to site, you will work with acQuire, Geobank, Leapfrog, Micromine, SQL Server, Power BI, and Python to support technical reporting, resource estimation, and data workflows. A Bachelor's degree in Geology and 5+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in geological database management, exploration geology, or mine geology.
• Proficient in geological database and mining software such as acQuire, Geobank, Leapfrog, Micromine or similar platforms, as well as Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, database administration, data validation, QA/QC, and reporting. Experience with data analytics tools (Power BI, Python, or similar) and familiarity with AI/ML applications for geoscience data management will be an advantage.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions.
• Willing to travel to site and be based in Jakarta.
