Job summary

IYKRA is hiring a Database Administrator for a Banking Industry client in South Jakarta. You will manage SQL Server and other DB engines, troubleshoot issues, and drive reliable data platforms.

Responsibilities include root-cause analysis, capacity planning, and delivering actionable findings to development and infrastructure teams. A strong SQL/NoSQL background and backup/restoration expertise are required.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server and other DB engines.
• Experience with performance tuning for SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Familiar with database monitoring and recovery procedures.

Job description

We are hiring a Database Administrator for our client, Banking Industry, based in South Jakarta.

Job Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot database object-level issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Develop permanent solutions for recurring issues.
• Perform capacity planning based on historical data.
• Provide technical findings and recommendations to developers, infrastructure teams, and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (highly preferred).
• Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, IBM DB2, Elasticsearch, MariaDB, MongoDB, HBase, Teradata, Hive & Impala, or HDFS.
• Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL performance tuning.
• Experience with HA solutions (Always On, Clustering, Mirroring).
• Hands-on experience in backup & restore; Rubrik is a plus.
• Familiar with database monitoring, ELK Stack, Grafana, Confluence, and JIRA.
• Database Administration certification is a plus.
