SAGARA Technology in Jakarta is seeking a Database Administrator to ensure reliable and high-performing database operations across our SLAs. You will monitor, tune, and secure databases, while coordinating with engineering teams to keep systems stable and scalable.

The role requires hands-on DBA experience with major RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle), strong SQL skills, and a disciplined approach to backup, recovery, and security.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Database Administrator, Database Engineer, or in a related role.
• Hands-on experience in database installation, configuration, administration, backup, and recovery.
• Strong understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS), such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle Database.
• Proficiency in SQL, database architecture, indexing, and query optimization.
• Knowledge of database security, access controls, and data protection practices.
• Experience with database monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of database replication and high-availability concepts is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

As a Database Administrator, you will ensure database reliability and performance through routine monitoring, maintenance, backup and recovery, and access management. You will also troubleshoot database issues and collaborate with technical teams to maintain stable and secure database operations in accordance with established service level agreements (SLAs).
