Job summary

FindITGeek is seeking a Data Scientist to develop and deploy predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions that drive business decisions. You will build and evaluate ML and statistical models, using Python and/or R, and work with SQL/NoSQL data processing.

You will collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business teams, leveraging Spark, Hive, Impala, and Kafka to deliver data-driven insights and production-ready models.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Predictive Analytics, Prescriptive Analytics, Advanced Analytics, Data Science, or related field.
• Equivalent skills or experience may be considered.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL and data processing.
• Proficiency in Python and/or R for machine learning and statistical modeling.
• Experience with Machine Learning, Statistical Modeling, and/or Operations Research.
• Experience deploying analytical or machine learning models into production environments.
• Experience with Big Data technologies (Spark, Hive, Impala, Kafka) preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
