Job summary

A leading pharmaceutical company in Jakarta Selatan is seeking a Data Scientist specializing in Forecasting and Prompt Engineering. The successful candidate will develop and implement advanced forecasting models, validate and optimize them, and analyze data for actionable insights. Required qualifications include a Master’s/PhD in relevant fields and 3–5 years of data science experience, particularly in forecasting. Proficiency in Python/R and familiarity with cloud platforms are essential.

Data Scientist – Forecasting & Prompt Engineering (Spv Level)

Develop and implement forecasting models (ARIMA, Prophet, Neural Networks, etc.) for various business needs.

Conduct model validation, backtesting, and optimization to ensure accuracy and stability.

Build data pipelines and automate model retraining and deployment processes.

Analyze data and translate forecasting results into actionable insights for stakeholders.

Explore integration of LLMs (e.g., GPT) to enhance predictions and automate reporting.

Qualifications:

Master’s/PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields.

3–5 years of experience in data science, with strong focus on forecasting.

Proficient in Python/R and various time series & machine learning techniques.

Experience with databases (MSSQL), data visualization tools, and cloud platforms (GCP is a plus).

Bonus: Strong knowledge of Prompt Engineering & working with LLMs (GPT, BERT, etc.).

Willing to be placed in Head Office (Sinar Mas Land Plaza Sudirman)
