Job Description

The Data Science Manager will be responsible for:

• Define and lead the execution of data strategy in line with business goals.
• Design and optimize data models for both structured and unstructured datasets.
• Build, test, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models to address complex business challenges.
• Utilize data mining, statistical analysis, and mathematical modeling to extract insights and support strategic decisions.
• Develop sophisticated pattern recognition and forecasting models to anticipate trends and enhance operations.
• Stay at the forefront of statistical advancements and apply cutting-edge techniques to real-world problems.
• Establish robust standards for data quality, security, and compliance.
• Translate analytical results into actionable business insights, aligning with strategic objectives.
• Work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to turn business needs into data solutions.
• Lead agile initiatives to ensure iterative progress and timely delivery of high-impact solutions.
• Manage and mentor a remote, cross-functional team of data professionals, fostering growth and collaboration.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate will have:

• Strong foundation in data modeling, database architecture, and optimization.
• Deep expertise in statistical analysis, data mining, and business intelligence techniques.
• Skilled in building pattern recognition and predictive analytics systems.
• Proficient in ML/DL tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Programming expertise in Python, R, or Java.
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Solid understanding of both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred).
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
