Job summary

Monee is seeking an Experienced Data Engineer in Jakarta to collaborate with BI Analysts and project teams, turning data into insights and building automation products that meet business needs.

You will own data pipelines, data marts, and the lifecycle of self-service data, automation, and AI projects while designing scalable architecture for a high-performing BI/AI platform. English proficiency is preferred for regional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong Python expertise, with data ingestion and automation frameworks.
• Advanced SQL, Spark, Airflow and other data processing tools; frontend knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with LLM and Agentic tools and their business applications.
• Proficient in SDLC, version control, testing, modularity and documentation.
• Able to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable with multiple languages/frameworks and selecting best tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with BI Analysts and project teams to turn data into actionable insights.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and data marts for BI, Analytics, and regulatory reporting.
• Own the full lifecycle of self-service data, automation, and AI product development.
• Design and maintain the architecture of a high-performing data automation and AI platform.
