A leading financial services company in Jakarta seeks a Data Partnership Manager to oversee strategic partnerships vital for credit scoring, verification, and anti-fraud products. This high-impact role demands an MBA and extensive experience in the field, engaging with C-level executives and managing complex commercial relationships. If you possess strong negotiation skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the opportunity for you.
We are looking for a Data Partnership Manager to join our Business & Product Strategy team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and managing strategic data partnerships that are critical to the development of our credit scoring, verification, and anti-fraud products. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across product, engineering, and data science teams, while also building and maintaining strong relationships with external partners across Southeast Asia. This is a high-impact role suited for someone with a strong network, commercial acumen, and a deep understanding of data-driven financial services.
Responsibilities
Identify and secure strategic data partnerships across sectors including telecommunications, e-commerce, utilities, employment platforms, payments, shared economy, credit bureaus, and government databases.
Drive end-to-end management of the data partner lifecycle: from sourcing and evaluating vendors, building business model frameworks, leading commercial and legal negotiations, to contract signing and post-deal implementation support.
Collaborate closely with internal teams—particularly product, credit scoring, and data science—to integrate external data into our credit scoring, verification, anti-fraud, and analytics products.
Engage and influence C-level executives and key stakeholders at partner organizations to close impactful partnerships.
Conduct competitor analysis and market research to generate insights that shape our data product roadmap and partnership strategy.
Manage commercial performance of partnerships, including usage tracking, billing reconciliation, and performance reviews.
Requirements
MBA or equivalent degree; graduates from top-tier institutions preferred. Overseas education or experience in multinational companies is a plus.
5–10 years of proven experience in data partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances within Financial Services, Telecommunications, or Credit Bureau sectors in Southeast Asia. Experience with consumer lending platforms is a strong advantage.
Strong understanding of credit risk decisioning, eKYC, digital lending, fraud prevention, AML, AI/big data, and analytics-driven solutions.
Existing network of high-level contacts across relevant sectors such as Telco, eCommerce, utilities, employment, payments, shared economy, credit bureaus, and government agencies.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills—confident in negotiations and presentations across multiple formats (in-person, phone, email).
Highly motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in a Southeast Asian local language or Mandarin is a plus.
