Job summary

PT Adicipta Inovasi Teknologi seeks a Data Migration Specialist to lead client data migration efforts. You will extract, transform, and validate data from legacy systems, coordinate with client IT, and maintain data integrity and confidentiality on-site at client locations.

The role requires strong SQL skills, experience with relational databases, and ability to read/write technical docs like Data Mappings and Data Dictionaries. Weekend or after-hours work may be required per project schedule.

Qualifications

• Min. S1 in Information Systems, Computer Science, Informatics Engineering, or related field.
• Proficient in SQL for data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
• Experienced with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or equivalent).
• Able to read and produce technical data documentation (Data Mapping, Data Dictionary, ERD).
• Familiarity with ETL tools (SSIS or equivalent) is a plus.
• Basic scripting ability (Python or Shell Script) for automation is a plus.
• Understanding of multifinance business processes and OJK reporting is a plus.
• Detail oriented and structured.
• Strong analytical problem solving skill.
• Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Willing to travel and work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data migration meeting with client to explain data migration process.
• Prepare Data Dictionary with table structures, data volume, formats, data quality.
• Identify data in scope for migration and data to be excluded.
• Define reconciliation items agreed with client post-migration.
• Extract data from legacy system according to scope and schedule.
• Coordinate with client IT for data access (DB dump, flat file export, API).
• Document extraction method and ensure data integrity during extraction.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of client data during extraction.
• Transform data per Data Mapping Document: format conversion, code alignment, value normalization.
• Cleanse data of duplicates, inconsistencies, invalid nulls and anomalies.
• Prepare and run validation scripts for completeness, accuracy, consistency.
• Prepare production migration plan: steps, estimates, rollback procedures.
• Execute data migration to production environment per go-live schedule.
• Perform post-migration checks to confirm data health before go-live.
• Resolve data migration issues.

• Conduct data migration meeting with client to explain how data migration process will be going


• Prepare Data Dictionary that have explanation about table structures, data volume, formats, data quality


• Identify data in scope for migration and data to be excluded (obsolete historical data, duplicates, etc.)


• Define the reconciliation item agree with the client on what will be reconciled post-migration


• Extract data from the client's legacy system according to the agreed scope and schedule


• Coordinate with the client IT team to obtain required data access (database dump, flat file export, API, etc.)


• Document the extraction method and ensure data integrity during the extraction process.


• Maintain confidentiality and security of client data throughout extraction


• Transform data per the Data Mapping Document: format conversion, reference code alignment, value normalization, and so forth


• Cleanse data of duplicates, inconsistencies, invalid null values, and other anomalies


• Prepare and execute validation scripts to verify completeness, accuracy, and consistency of migrated data


• Prepare a production migration plan (rundown migration): step sequence, time estimates, and rollback procedures


• Execute data migration to the production environment in line with the go-live schedule set by the Project Manager


• Perform post-migration checks to confirm production data is healthy before go-live operations begin


• Resolve data migration issue

REQUIREMENTS

• Min. S1 in Information Systems, Computer Science, Informatics Engineering, or related field


• Proficient in SQL for data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation


• Experienced working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or equivalent)


• Able to read and produce technical data documentation (Data Mapping, Data Dictionary, ERD)


• Familiarity with ETL tools (SSIS or equivalent) is a plus


• Basic scripting ability (Python or Shell Script) for migration process automation is a plus.


• Understanding of multifinance business processes: debtor data structures, instalment, collateral, and accounting entries is a plus


• Familiarity with OJK reporting requirements for multifinance (SLIK, monthly OJK reports) is a plus


• Detail oriented and structured


• Strong analytical problem solving skill


• Able to communicate technical finding clearly to non technical stakeholder


• Maintains integrity and confidentiality in handling client data
