Job summary

Facetology invites a Data Engineer to join our dynamic beauty brand. You will develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, design data warehouses with star and snowflake schemas, and implement monitoring and data quality checks to ensure reliability.

You will ingest data from REST APIs, e-commerce platforms, Excel/CSV, and more, manage cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS, and collaborate with Data Analysts to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or IT with GPA 3.0/4.0 or higher.
• 2–4 years of Data Engineer experience.
• Advanced SQL skills and data transformation experience.
• Experience with ETL/orchestration tools (Airflow, AWS Glue, GCP Composer, Azure Data Factory).
• Cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure; AWS preferred.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, APIs, data quality, and pipeline monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT data pipelines for performance and reliability.
• Design and maintain data warehouse architectures with star/snowflake schemas.
• Build automated pipeline monitoring, data quality checks and error handling.
• Develop ingestion processes from REST APIs, e-commerce/ad platforms, and CSV/Excel.
• Manage cloud data infrastructure focusing on AWS to improve efficiency and control costs.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into reliable data solutions.
