Job summary

PT. Berca Hardayaperkasa (BHp) is seeking an experienced Data Engineer with a strong Snowflake background to build, optimize, and maintain reliable data pipelines and a data warehouse for the insurance domain.

You will design ETL/ELT processes, optimize Snowflake performance, and ensure data quality while collaborating with business and analytics teams to meet reporting needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in IT/CS/IS or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Insurance industry experience or insurance project exposure is required.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with a strong background in the insurance industry and hands‑on experience with Snowflake to build, maintain, and optimize reliable data pipelines and data warehouse solutions.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines

Develop and optimize data warehouse solutions using Snowflake

Perform data integration, migration, transformation, and validation from multiple data sources

Build and maintain data models, tables, views, and stored procedures

Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot data processing or integration issues

Optimize SQL queries and Snowflake performance

Ensure data quality, accuracy, consistency, and availability

Work closely with business, analytics, and application teams to support data requirements

Handle datasets and reporting requirements related to the insurance business domain

Support data warehouse, reporting, and analytics initiatives

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, ETL Developer, Data Warehouse Engineer, or similar role

Must have experience working in the insurance industry or handling insurance‑related projects

Strong hands‑on experience with Snowflake

Strong proficiency in SQL and data warehouse concepts

Experience in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines

Experience with Python for data processing or automation

Good understanding of data modeling, data migration, data integration, and data quality

Familiar with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

Good analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
