Job summary

Karya Bahana Group is seeking a Data Engineer to design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, and develop data warehouses and data lakes for analytics. You will implement batch and streaming data integration using Kafka and Debezium, while ensuring data accuracy and availability.

The role requires 1–2 years of data engineering experience, strong SQL skills, and knowledge of databases and data modeling. Collaboration with diverse teams is essential for delivering scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related fields.
• 1–2 years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL/ELT, Data Warehouse, or Data Integration.
• Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Scala, or Java).
• Good understanding of databases, data modeling, and Data Warehouse/Data Lake.
• Familiar with Apache Kafka, Debezium (CDC), or similar technologies.
• Familiar with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to integrate data from various sources.
• Develop and optimize Data Warehouse and Data Lake for analytics and reporting.
• Implement batch and streaming data integration using Apache Kafka, Debezium (CDC), or similar technologies.
• Maintain data integration processes to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and availability.
• Prepare technical documentation for data architecture, pipelines, and integration processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business data needs.
