Job summary

Intrepid is seeking a Data Engineer to bolster data pipelines and warehouses across SEA. You'll collaborate with senior engineers, the Data Engineering Manager, and the BI team to deliver reliable production pipelines using BigQuery, StarRocks, Airflow, and dbt.

This role suits someone with 2+ years of data engineering experience who wants to deepen skills in a fast-paced, Agile environment while taking increasing ownership over time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years hands-on data engineering or related role.
• Proven Python and SQL proficiency.
• Hands-on Airflow experience and cloud data warehouses.
• Familiarity with MySQL or Postgres.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot ETL/ELT pipelines with Airflow.
• Write and optimize SQL transformations for BigQuery and StarRocks.
• Ingest data from multiple sources into the data warehouse.
• Implement data quality checks and monitor pipeline health.
• Collaborate with analysts and engineers in Agile ceremonies.
