Job summary

A technology firm in Jakarta Selatan is seeking a Data Engineer to build the necessary data infrastructure. Responsibilities include optimizing data handling, working with complex data sets, and improving internal processes. Must Have

• University degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) field.
• Have a minimum 2 years experience as Data Engineer or any role related.
• Strong coding skills (Python / Scala).
• Fundamental knowledge in databases: RDBMS & NoSQL.
• Proficiency in Linux commands and operating systems.
• Good communication skills.
• Willing to work onsite (Jakarta Selatan area) 3 days a week.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervisions.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on industry experience in data modeling and data ingestion.
• Knowledge of Telco/ISP network.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).

Job Description

• Build data infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources.
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
• Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Project/Product Manager, and IT Infrastructure to assist with data-related technical issues.
