Job summary

VLink Inc. in Jakarta, Indonesia is seeking a data engineer to design and optimize data pipelines, preprocess data for data scientists, and maintain robust data infrastructure.

You will work with co-workers and clients to translate requirements into scalable solutions. The role requires strong proficiency in Python and SQL, experience with cloud platforms and big data tools, and a collaborative, detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data engineering, big data analytics, computer engineering, or related field.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
• Proven experience as a data engineer, software developer, or similar.
• Expert proficiency in Python, C++, Java, R, and SQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Hadoop or suitable equivalent.
• Knowledges and experience in workflow with DATAIKU, or other platforms.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Capacity to work independently and in teams.
