Job summary

A leading company in the EdTech sector is seeking a Data Engineer to enhance their analytics systems. In this role, you will design and optimize data pipelines, integrate data across platforms, and improve the infrastructure for scalability. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least three years of experience in data engineering, familiar with cloud storage solutions and database technologies.

Qualifications

Job Description

• Design, build and maintain data pipelines, warehouse, and backend solutions to improve our existing analytics systems
• Develop and implement data integration processes between various systems and platforms
• Manage and optimize ETL pipeline to ensure efficient data processing
• Design and develop scalable and reliable data storage and retrieval systems
• Ensure that the data pipelines and systems meet the business requirements and performance goals
• Working with stakeholders including data, design, product and executive teams and assisting them with data-related technical issues
• Identifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes
• Assembling large, complex sets of data that meet non-functional and functional business requirements
  
  

Requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
• Have minimum of 3 years in data engineering, ETL development, or related field
• Experience with big data technologies and cloud-based data storage (e.g. Azure Blob Storage, AWS S3, GCP, etc.)
• Strong experience skill with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Familiar with data warehousing concept and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, BigQuery, etc.)
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java, Python, R, etc.)
• Great numerical and analytical skills
