Job summary

ZTE Indonesia is seeking a Security Manager with a strong background in safety, security, and EHS to oversee site security operations across Indonesia. You will coordinate with multiple teams, manage security personnel, and ensure incident preparedness and compliance.

The role requires collaboration with stakeholders, travel as needed, and the ability to translate business needs into clear security plans and actions.

Qualifications

• Indonesian + English or Indonesian + Chinese language skills.

Job description

• Relevant background and experience: Candidates should have a background in property management, security technology, or other related fields, with at least 5 years of relevant security-related work experience. This can be relaxed to 3 years of experience. Candidates without IDC/data center experience can also be considered if they have security management experience in other industries.
• Security management and emergency response: Strong understanding of high-standard security management systems within the industry, along with strong emergency response and incident management capabilities.
• Communication and coordination: Ability to coordinate with cross-functional departments and achieve alignment through effective communication and clarification. Strong communication management skills are required, including upward, downward, and horizontal communication. Communication is a key capability because the role involves coordinating with multiple teams and also managing and coordinating the security personnel assigned to the site.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Able to facilitate cross-departmental communication and collaboration through effective information sharing, resource coordination, and project goal breakdown, in order to achieve business objectives.
• Team management and execution: Able to apply comprehensive skills and methods to achieve objectives, quickly establish a clear direction for the team, allocate resources and manpower appropriately, and break down tasks with clear targets, execution plans, results, and performance evaluation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Safety Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, Environmental Engineering, EHS, Engineering Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in security, fire protection, safety, or EHS management, preferably in data centers, mission-critical facilities, industrial projects, or large-scale construction projects.
• Language Requirement: Indonesian + English, or Indonesian + Chinese.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a project/site environment.
• Willingness to travel or work on-site across Indonesia based on project requirements.
