Job summary

Amazon Web Services Indonesia is seeking a Data Center Engineering Operations Engineer to manage critical facilities, lead maintenance, and optimize uptime and efficiency. You will oversee electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems, coordinate with contractors, and implement capacity-enhancing projects.

Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline with 5+ years of data center experience and strong vendor management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
• 5+ years of Data Center Engineering Experience, Power Utilities or Oil & Gas.
• 3+ years of vendor management experience.

Responsibilities

• Site presence and oversight of routine maintenance for critical facilities.
• Lead and manage operation of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure compliance with practices and local legislation.
• Generate reports and KPI readings to monitor uptime and capacity.
• Drive projects to improve capacity, efficiency, and reliability.
