Job summary

OTTO Digital is seeking a Mechanical/Facilities Engineer for data center construction in Indonesia. You will review designs, coordinate with consultants, and validate technical docs and reports across FAT, SAT, and IST testing phases.

Expect to review BOQ, shop drawings, and vendor interactions, ensuring compliance with international standards. Strong CAD/BIM skills and 5 years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Approximately 5 years of experience in the data center construction industry.
• Strong background in data center mechanical systems, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.
• Proficiency in CAD Drawing; experience with BIM software is highly preferred.
• Basic training in Project Management is an advantage.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• High motivation and ability to work effectively within a team under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review planning designs and coordinate with consultants regarding technical agreements.
• Conduct reviews and coordination with consultants related to the Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
• Review shop drawings, project material documents, and technical specifications.
• Attend testing sessions and validate reports regarding equipment function and quality during FAT, SAT, and IST.
• Coordinate with multiple vendors during the tender, installation, and testing processes.
• Review technical documents that have been validated during the construction process.
• Assist the sales team by providing technical information for tender purposes.
• Ensure the data center building meets local and international standards to maintain the quality of systems and services.
