Job summary

Arbeit Infotech seeks a Mechanical Engineer to support HVAC installation, inspection, testing and commissioning at a Batam data center site.

Onsite work in Batam with immediate joining available; candidates holding a degree in Mechanical Engineering are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years of HVAC engineering, installation, or mechanical systems experience.
• Data Center project experience is highly preferred.
• Good understanding of HVAC systems and related mechanical equipment.
• Able to read and understand mechanical/HVAC drawings and technical specifications.
• Good command of English, both written and verbal, is mandatory.
• Willing to work onsite in Batam.
• Available to join immediately or with a short notice period.

Responsibilities

• Support HVAC installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning at the data center site.
• Review HVAC drawings, technical specifications, and installation requirements.
• Monitor installation work for compliance with approved drawings and project standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines during project execution.
• Conduct site inspections and assist in identifying installation issues or discrepancies.
• Support testing and commissioning activities for HVAC systems.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to HVAC systems.
• Prepare and maintain technical reports, inspection records, and project documentation.
• Monitor work progress and ensure activities are completed according to project requirements and schedule.
• Ensure HVAC activities comply with applicable quality and safety requirements.
