About Our Client

We are currently representing an established digital infrastructure company in Batam

Job Description

  • Oversee daily operations of all critical data centre facilities, ensuring 100% uptime and full compliance with customer SLAs. Serve as the main point of accountability for operational performance.
  • Supervise and evaluate vendors to ensure timely, high-quality maintenance and repairs, managing SLAs and safety compliance.
  • Lead prompt incident response and perform root cause analysis (RCA) to implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant local laws, regulations, and industry standards including environmental, safety, electrical, and health requirements.
  • Maintain and enforce all operational documentation such as SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs, ensuring strict adherence by the team.
  • Manage site accreditation processes, audits, and customer inspections to uphold industry standards.
  • Oversee Change Management, including risk assessments, approvals, and communication to minimize operational impact.
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate Facilities Engineers and Technicians, promoting continuous development and high team performance.
  • Participate in commissioning and acceptance testing, reviewing technical documents to ensure system integration and functionality.
  • Collaborate with Security, HSE, ICT, Service Delivery, Projects, and other teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency, optimize PUE and WUE, reduce costs, and support sustainability goals.

The Successful Applicant

  • 7+ years of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, BMS/DCIM experience in data centres, facilities, engineering operations in a managerial role, overseeing 24X7 operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring of multi-skilling teams, including technical staffs.
  • Ability to establish and review Standard of Procedure documents, Method of Procedure, Emergency of Operations documents, Incident Reports, Root Cause Analysis Reports, CAPEX/OPEX budget forecast, asset management, critical spare management.
  • Experience developing efficiency, environmental and cot optimization strategies
  • Excellent collaborator with strong communication skills in English
  • Exceptionally flexible, forward thinking and motivated by dynamic and face pace environment
  • Effective customer management skills and meeting chair experience
