Data Center Asset Engineer (Mandarin Speaker)

Maintain accurate records of data center hardware (servers, switches, storage, etc.).

Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy.

Procurement & Logistics:

Coordinate with Mandarin-speaking vendors for hardware procurement and deliveries.

Manage shipping/receiving of equipment and update asset databases.

Documentation & Reporting:

Generate reports on asset status, utilization, and depreciation.

Document workflows in both English and Mandarin.

Work with cross-functional teams to align asset management with operational needs.

Support IT teams in troubleshooting asset-related issues.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

3+ years in data center asset/inventory management.

Familiarity with DCIM tools (e.g., Sunbird, Nlyte).

Language: Fluent in Mandarin and English (written/spoken).

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of data center hardware (e.g., Cisco, Dell, HPE).

Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and asset tracking systems.

Certifications (Preferred): ITIL, CDCP, or similar.
