The ideal candidate will use their passion for big data and analytics to provide insights to the business for retail products. They will be responsible for conducting both recurring and ad hoc analysis for business users.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis to support strategies for acquisition, activation, usage, and retention of retail banking products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, product, marketing, technology, and risk to understand data needs and deliver relevant, actionable insights
- Develop predictive models, customer segmentation, and analytical dashboards to monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Analyze customer behavior trends using transactional data, interaction channels, and demographic attributes to support strategic decision-making
- Build and maintain reliable data pipelines and perform quality checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations clearly to stakeholders, including senior management
- Support A/B testing, customer journey analytics, and marketing campaign evaluations to enhance business effectiveness
- Prepare technical and business documentation related to insights and analytical methodologies used
- Actively contribute to enhancing internal analytics capabilities by sharing best practices and data-driven innovations
- Ensure data usage accountability, adhering to governance, compliance, and data security standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, preferably in banking, e-commerce, or tech-driven industries
- Strong understanding of retail banking products and services is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with analytics tools such as Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience working on large datasets (big data)
- Proven ability to generate strategic insights that drive business decision-making
- Excellent communication and data storytelling skills, able to translate technical insights into business language
- Experience in customer analytics, churn analysis, or campaign performance tracking is an advantage
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Strong collaborative spirit, high integrity, and a commitment to ethical data usage and accountability
