Job summary

Straitsx is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Data Team, collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data to support strategic decisions and reporting for internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Up to 1 year of experience as a Data Analyst. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in at least one database query language (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, PrestoSQL, or similar).
• Strong understanding of basic statistics and analytical concepts.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong commercial awareness, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Curiosity and eagerness to explore and leverage Agentic AI tools to enhance data analysis and decision-making processes.
• Knowledge of Python is a plus.
• Experience with BigQuery, Tableau, or other analytics and data visualization platforms is an advantage
