Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate technical requirements regarding existing D365 solutions and identify technologies that add business value while adhering to 'Standard-First' principles.
• Ensure technical gatekeeping for all D365 enhancements by reviewing and approving solution design documents.
• Support the Annual Business Planning (ABP) cycle and the demand pipeline by providing technical roadmaps, feasibility assessments, and value realization opportunities.
• Ensure the accuracy of technical costing and effort estimations; challenge vendor-justified efforts for architecturally sound budgets.
• Oversee the technical lifecycle from demand qualification to deployment, translating complex business needs into scalable designs.
• Guide implementation teams regarding architectural best practices and SLA-compliant delivery; develop D365 Landscape Blueprint and Integration Map.
• Develop solution architecture for cloud components and integrations; promote continuous learning within the CoE.

Job Purpose

The D365 CoE Solution Architect Lead is responsible for the solution architecture and technical integrity of the D365 platform across CCEP. The role focuses on technology standards, architectural frameworks, and the governance of future features. By ensuring architectural discipline, validating financial estimations, and supporting strategic business planning, this role ensures the platform delivers maximum value while maintaining a sustainable Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

Main Responsibilities

• Evaluate technical requirements regarding existing D365 solutions and identify technologies that add business value while adhering to "Standard-First" principles.
• Ensure technical gatekeeping for all D365 enhancements by reviewing and approving solution design documents. Ensure solutions solve business problems through high-quality, sustainable architectural patterns.
• Support the Annual Business Planning (ABP) cycle and the demand pipeline by providing technical roadmaps, feasibility assessments, and value realization opportunities.
• Ensure the accuracy of technical costing and effort estimations. Challenge vendor-justified efforts to ensure project budgets are architecturally sound and optimized for resource utilization.
• Oversee the technical lifecycle from demand qualification to deployment, ensuring that complex business requirements are translated into scalable functional and technical designs.
• Guide implementation teams regarding architectural best practices, ensuring delivery quality meets CCEP engineering standards and SLAs.
• Create and maintain the D365 Landscape Blueprint and Integration Map. Develop solution architecture for cloud components and their integrations.
• Facilitate the upskilling of the CoE team by promoting a culture of continuous learning and regularly sharing technical insights and emerging D365 innovations.

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, Information Technology or equivalent degree.
• Fluent in English (strong in business communication).
• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Solution Architect Expert is highly preferred.
• Project delivery methodology certification is a plus.

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Technical/Solution Architecture within the D365 ecosystem.
• Proven track record of ensuring internal design authority and reducing reliance on external vendor-led architecture.
• Demonstrated experience in technical costing, effort estimation, and budget validation within a large-scale IT environment.
• Experience in supporting Annual Business Planning and managing the technical demand pipeline.
• Management of technical resources of various implementation partners
• Experience with waterfall/agile implementation methodologies
• Proven ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration
• Improving the governance framework

Technical and Behavioral Skills

• Advance understanding of D365 F&O modules and core ERP concepts.
• Mastery of D365 F&O Architecture, Microsoft "One Version" service updates, and Lifecycle Services (LCS).
• Advance technical aptitude in Dynamics 365 configuration, with related data and integration technologies (e.g., BYOD, Synapse Link, and supporting ecosystem tools).
• Expert understanding of D365 integration patterns (OData, Dual-write, Logic Apps) and "Standard-First" engineering trade-offs.
• Proficiency in the BPT toolchain, including the use of Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
• Ability to work in a global team environment (virtual, onsite, offshore).
