Job summary

GISI Consulting Group seeks a Cybersecurity Consultant to strengthen the cybersecurity posture of its operating companies by advancing maturity and aligning with global standards. The role advises local teams, conducts maturity assessments, and drives remediation across diverse environments.

The consultancy lasts up to ten months, with potential extension to one year, and is based remotely in Indonesia. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent.
8+ years of ICT experience in cybersecurity.
Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST CSF, CIS Controls, ISO 27001) and risk management.

Responsibilities

Partner with OPCOs to assess, improve, and monitor cybersecurity maturity and alignment with policies.
Identify local privacy, regulatory and contractual requirements and ensure alignment with standards.
Develop remediation roadmaps and action plans to address security gaps.
Support OPCOs in implementing security controls, standards, and procedures.
Provide guidance on governance, risk management, vulnerability management, incident response, data protection, IAM, and third-party risk management.
Develop SOPs, templates, checklists, and guidance documents to promote best practices.
