Job summary

Packet Systems Indonesia is seeking a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to collect and analyze cyber threat data from OSINT, dark web, and CTI feeds, supporting SOC and incident response teams with rich intel and actionable insights.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in cybersecurity, relevant certifications, and hands-on experience with major TI platforms, SIEM/EDR tools, and malware analysis. Strong reporting and briefing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Telecommunication or related fields; minimum IPK 3.0.
• Minimum 2–3 years of cybersecurity, SOC analyst, DFIR, or Threat Intel experience.
• Certifications: EC-Council CTIA or CompTIA CySA+/Security+.
• Experience with TI platforms such as Cybel, RF, Cyberint, Mandiant, CrowdStrike Intel.
• Knowledge of threat intel lifecycle & frameworks.
• Familiar with SIEM/EDR platforms for IOC validation & hunting.
• Basic malware behavior analysis knowledge is a plus.
• Python or scripting for intel automation is a plus.
• Strong report-writing and intelligence, briefing skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform cyber threat intelligence collection from OSINT, dark web, CTI platform feeds, SOC telemetry.
• Monitor threat actors, campaigns, vulnerabilities, and emerging cyber risks for customers.
• Collaborate with Incident Response to enrich incident context and post-incident threat assessments.
• Translate threat intel into clear business and technical recommendations.
• Participate in threat-hunting cycles and contribute to detection content improvements.
• Stay updated on latest threat trends, APT groups, malware families, and cybercriminal ecosystems.

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in cybersecurity, SOC analyst, DFIR, or Threat Intelligence role
