Job summary

Akulaku in Jakarta seeks a cybersecurity analyst to monitor networks and systems using SIEM tools, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions. You will conduct vulnerability assessments, apply patches, and update security policies while educating staff on security best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience as a cybersecurity analyst.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH or others are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor networks, systems, and applications for potential security incidents using SIEM tools.
• Investigate security incidents, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions; develop incident response plans.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Collaborate with IT teams to apply security patches and updates timely.
• Develop and update security policies, standards, and procedures; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Educate employees on security best practices to reduce phishing and social engineering risks.
• Conduct security audits to maintain compliance and documentation.
• Implement and manage security solutions (firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus); monitor controls to prevent unauthorized access.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity threats and industry trends.
• Identify and address emerging security risks; provide guidance on secure coding practices in SDLC.
• Assess and communicate overall security posture; recommend improvements to controls and risk reduction.
