La position
Role Purpose:
As the CVS Manager (NPC), you will be responsible for:
- Lead a team of product managers to ensure the success of the NPC diagnostic business in hospital POCT and retail segments.
- Develop and implement marketing and product related strategies / initiatives in Indonesia to drive the overall NPC diagnostic business with commercial acumen and innovative approaches. This may include market analysis, marketing plans, sales tactics and building strategic key partnerships with KOLs/ disease area related stakeholders.
- Define an overarching business strategy of the overall performance of NPC business in Indonesia by combining solutions within the current (digital) ecosystem.
- Make strategic, customer-centric decisions on product / segment launches and build new commercial business models.
- Stay abreast of trends in the external environment that could impact the business currently and in the future.
- Propose and articulate vision that creates strategic alignment, mobilize the organization and pursue results.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and guide the NPC Customer Value and Solutions (Marketing) team, covering Roche’s entire Near Patient Care portfolio. This includes blood glucose monitoring in both the hospital POCT and retail channels.
- Develop, co-create, and deploy NPC marketing plans in alignment with the sales team, that is also consistent with the global, regional and local Marketing Plan.
- Leading the execution of key marketing initiatives and taking accountability of the overall return on investment to ensure sales and operating profit achievement.
- Maintain close liaison with Key Opinion Leaders. Develop KOL strategy and physician champions for different each product area.
- Maintain a high level of market intelligence. Monitor and analyze product, market and competitors to execute on competitive marketing in a timely manner
- Work closely with Customer Service & Support team to ensure product related technical and medical issue are well handled
- Ensure that all marketing materials (brochures, product info, manuals, etc) are available for the sales team to promote the products effectively
- Ensure that requirements are met in regards to local registration, performance and evaluation
- Develop internal and external training plans and ensuring optimal training execution
- Lead new product launches through the implementation of the Launch Powerhouse framework and manage product updates. Forecast launch demand to ensure adequate product supply
- Liaise with other functions (finance, sales, supply chain, distributors or customers) as per required to establish the correct recommended end-market price This includes leading end-to-end e-catalog management, primarily product listing/ de-listing management and pricing management. Together with the Sales team to formulate the appropriate pricing strategy which balances profit vs volume.
- Utilize strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of the diagnostic world in the context of the overall healthcare market and environment. Have insights into trends or technology that are reshaping markets. Identify how to tap into these trends to streamline performance, become market shapers, grow market share and outperform competition.
- Coordinate the team to ensure effectiveness and cooperation amongst the team members.
- Report to the RDID Head of Commercial Enablement.
Who you are:
- Experience building and growing laboratory discipline based business and/or consumer health retail business required. Skills and experience in digital marketing will be an advantage.
- Proven ability to establish and articulate a vision, set goals, develop and execute strategies, and track and measure results.
- Show good track record in marketing such as market research, market analysis, new product launch, product management, competitor analysis, pricing strategy
- Proven experience leading teams. Highly developed leadership and people influencing skills; demonstrated success in establishing a high performing environment, fostering the Roche Operating Principles with an excellent reputation attracting the best talent and the commitment to developing and inspiring them.
- Intrapreneurial mindset with proven ability to incubate and foster agile organizations with a complex, global corporate environment.
- Familiarity with the technological trends and their relevance to the healthcare industry. A passionate and decisive business leader. Demonstrating courage, vision and drive to achieve results at the forefront of innovative technological changes.
- Willingness to travel across Indonesia and or overseas
- Willingness to work on weekend as per required (events, meetings etc)
- Able to converse and write in English fluently.
Qualification and Experience:
- Possess Bachelor/Master Degree from a reputable University (local/overseas) majoring in Pharmacy; Biology; Chemistry; Medicine; or other Science Technology. MBA is an advantage.
- At least 3 years of work experience in related field.
- Team management and people development experience and demonstrated courageous authenticity and builds trust with individuals of all levels.
- Demonstrated passion for and role modeling of VACC leadership, with proven ability to lead with a creative mindset and act as a coach and mentor for others.
