We are seeking a Customer Service Engineer (CSE) based in Indonesia to support Bell customers across the Asia Pacific region. This role involves extensive travel within the territory.

The selected candidate will provide exceptional technical support to Bell aircraft owners, acting as the primary contact for technical assistance, operational guidance, logistical support, and sales support.

Job Responsibilities

The role involves representing Bell globally, enhancing customer satisfaction, and fostering positive relationships between Bell and its customers, which will lead to increased sales and customer loyalty.

Technical Support:

  • Consult on technical issues related to aircraft maintenance, repair, and upgrades.
  • Perform hands-on maintenance during demonstrations and shows.
  • Conduct troubleshooting to reduce aircraft downtime and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Sign-off on aircraft maintenance activities.
  • Deliver presentations on maintenance topics at conferences or seminars.
  • Advise customers on spare parts and inventory needs.
  • Build relationships with sales teams and customers to support sales and aftermarket services.
  • Assist sales demonstrations with technical expertise.

Administrative Support:

  • Manage warranty-related interactions with customers.
  • Facilitate smooth purchasing of aftermarket parts and services.
  • Coordinate training sessions at the Bell Training Academy, including translations as needed.
  • Collect aircraft data to inform business decisions.

General:

  • This position operates independently and remotely.
  • On-call 24/7 to support aircraft on ground (AOG).
  • Travel at least 50% of the time.
  • Require at least 10 years of helicopter maintenance experience with relevant certifications (e.g., FAA A&P or LAME).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working on Bell helicopters.
  • Experience supporting helicopters in various environments.
  • Leadership or managerial experience preferred.
  • Overseas work experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of EFIS, FADEC, and integrated avionics systems.
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Ability to travel on short notice, including weekends.
  • Physical ability to work on aircraft in demanding environments, including climbing, lifting, crawling, and working in various weather conditions.
