Communicate and coordinate trial-related works (permit, location, equipment, workers, etc.) for both intra- and inter-departmental or division activities.
Plan strategy and prepare budgets for research related to pests, diseases, and weeds.
Communicate research results to other professionals, the public, or teach internally or externally through courses, seminars, or workshops.
Conduct experiments to develop new or improved varieties, focusing on disease resistance.
Develop new or improved methods using the latest technology or innovative approaches for controlling diseases and reducing pesticide usage.
Provide information or recommendations to operational and smallholder farmers to prevent or correct problems caused by diseases.
Develop environmentally safe methods or products for disease control.
