Through innovation and digital solutions, we aim to enhance accessibility, streamline processes, and create a seamless user experience.

About The Role

This role will be under our digital risk management team. This role will be responsible for tracking the lending portfolio's performance, analyzing trends and risks across segments, and providing insights to stakeholders on portfolio health. You will suggest adjustments to credit policies and risk limits, work with credit risk, underwriting, and data science teams to align risk models with business strategy, and create monitoring dashboards. Additionally, you will help develop lending risk policies and prepare regular reports on credit risk and portfolio performance.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the performance of the lending portfolio, tracking key metrics.
  • Conduct portfolio segmentation and cohort analysis to identify performance trends and potential risks across different segments and products.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders on portfolio health, suggesting adjustments to credit policy and risk limits.
  • Work closely with the credit risk and underwriting teams to align risk models with overall credit policy and business strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Data Science team in the preparation of datasets required to create monitoring dashboards and conduct ad-hoc assessments.
  • Participate in the creation of risk policies that govern the lending process and activities.
  • Prepare regular reports on credit risk and portfolio performance for stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in credit risk analytics, portfolio management, or risk management, preferably within banking, multifinance, or fintech.
  • Strong proficiency in data analytics tools e.g., SQL, Python, R, and advanced Excel.
  • Expertise in portfolio management handling lending portfolios in retail lending; both consumer and productive lending experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across teams and with external partners.
