Responsibilities
- This role is responsible for assessing and managing credit exposure and the timely collection of payments for EA customers, reviewing EA contract clauses related to finance, highlighting deviations, communicating and negotiating clauses, and ensuring approvals are obtained per process requirements. It also involves cross‑functional collaboration with legal, customer service, sales, Treasury, external customers and insurance brokers to facilitate the project tender contract review process and ensure reviewed contracts are tracked and delivered timely. Additionally, manage the project billing progress with stakeholders.
- Maintain strong commercial knowledge to manage customer credit limit reviews and support project bidding on financial terms reviews.
- Communicate and review with cross‑functional partners, customers and insurers on finance contract terms; ensure contract reviews are tracked, deviations are appropriately approved per internal process, and agreed financial documentation is delivered timely.
- Responsible for banker guarantee submission, guarantee negotiation with Treasury and sales, and final issuance.
- Collaborate with sales for proactive payment collection and timely billing on milestone projects to meet company working capital targets and keep credit exposure low. Travel is required.
- Daily review of customers on credit hold and perform system releases.
- Perform credit limit and term reviews for new and existing customers by analyzing financial data, understanding market practices, assessing business risk, and evaluating current projected sales to set appropriate credit limits and provide recommendations on credit terms.
- Adhoc projects and audit support as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- At least 4 years of finance experience in a credit analyst position, with excellent financial and credit analysis skills and good knowledge of credit risk management and control concepts.
- Strong commercial knowledge and experience in supporting project bidding on financial terms reviews.
- Experience in banker guarantee submission, guarantee negotiation with Treasury and sales, and final issuance.
- Good facilitation and negotiation skills.
- Experience in a similar industry is advantageous, as is experience in a multinational company.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to travel.
- Experience in SAP is preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Good communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external counterparties.
