Creative Merchandise Staff

Plasticpay, an innovative platform promoting sustainability through plastic waste management, is seeking a passionate Creative Merchandise Staff to design creative and eco-friendly merchandise. You will be responsible for creating appealing, functional products aligned with Plasticpay’s sustainability mission, with a strong understanding of sewing patterns to ensure production quality.

What you'll be doing

1. Design concepts for merchandise (such as bags, apparels, accessories, or other creative products) using recycled or eco-friendly materials.
2. Create sketches, prototypes, and design visualizations using design software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or 3D design tools.
3. Develop precise sewing patterns to ensure designs are production-ready and meet quality standards.
4. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure merchandise designs support Plasticpay’s branding and campaign strategies.
5. Conduct research on fashion trends, sustainability, and sewing techniques to generate innovative and marketable product ideas.
6. Coordinate with vendors or production teams to ensure quality, specifications, and sewing patterns align with the design.
7. Manage project timelines from concept to final production.
8. Provide creative input for developing new merchandise that supports Plasticpay’s plastic recycling mission.

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 1 year of experience in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Product Design, or related field (Fresh Graduates are welcome).
2. Proficient in creating sewing patterns for various fashion and apparel products.
3. Knowledge and skills in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or other design tools.
4. Understanding of eco-friendly materials and recycling processes (preferred).
5. Creative, innovative, and detail-oriented.
6. Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
7. Passionate about sustainability and environmental issues.
8. A portfolio of designs (sketches, digital work, sewing patterns, or prototypes) is required upon application.
