Responsibilities
Direct interface with customers on product introduction requirements
As a communication channel between customers on quality concerns & requirements
Work closely with process owners pertaining to quality matters
Drive root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions with process owners for part quality resolution
Generate 8D reports to customers and closely follow up
Responsible for tracking and driving field returns units with process owners
Create control plan and prepare FA packages per customer requirements
Responsible for customer's quality feedback or new/revised requirements
Accomplish customer’s report such as weekly report update, quarterly improvement package, etc
Monthly process control plan audit to confirm the manufacturing readiness
Lead the Customer visit / audit preparation
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
With 2-3 years of relevant working experience in supplier/customer quality role is good advantage, however, fresh graduates are considered as well
Possess strong analytical and report writing skills
Knowledge of 8D methodology; statistical tools such as cause-and-effect analysis, SPC, MSA, FMEA & QC tools and able to use Minitab and six sigma trained will be added advantage
Able to interpret technical drawings and knowledge in GDT is added advantage
Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
Understood for ISO 90001 and or IATF audit experience is a good advantage.
