Job Description

The Country Security Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all security operations across Indonesia, with a primary focus on the East Indonesia region. This Jakarta-based role reports directly to the Region and plays a critical part in ensuring the safety, compliance, and resilience of business operations.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a national security strategy aligned with global corporate standards.
  • Lead a team and oversee third-party security providers.
  • Conduct continuous threat assessments and implement proactive risk mitigation strategies.
  • Serve as the principal advisor to senior leadership on security and political risk matters.
  • Coordinate crisis management, emergency response, and incident investigations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, law enforcement, and industry partners.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and internal governance requirements.
  • Represent the organization in regional and global security forums as needed.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven leadership experience in high-risk environments, preferably with an ex-military background.
  • Strong strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written) - essential for global stakeholder engagement.
