In this strategic leadership role, you will oversee all commercial, operational, and organizational functions, leading a multi-functional team across sales, operations, and customer service. You will be fully accountable for achieving revenue and profitability targets, driving business development initiatives, and ensuring alignment with group objectives.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated, results-oriented leader to shape the future of our Indonesia operations and strengthen our regional presence in Southeast Asia.

This position reports directly to the Regional Director.

What Youll Do...
  • Lead and oversee the Indonesia branch offices, providing strategic direction, inspiring high-performing teams, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and service excellence.
  • Implement company policies and strategies in close collaboration with Corporate and Regional Management, Product Managers, and local teams to drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and alignment with group objectives.
  • Manage full P&L and operational oversight, including budgeting, cost control, financial performance, and day-to-day operational, financial, and commercial activities across all branch offices to ensure efficiency, compliance, and sustainable business growth.
  • Drive business development and commercial growth by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities; negotiating and closing contracts with new and existing clients; building and maintaining strong client relationships; and delivering presentations, proposals, and pricing solutions aligned with company strategy.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze results, and provide regular reports to management to inform strategic decision-making and ensure achievement of revenue and profitability targets.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive activities, using insights to inform strategic initiatives and drive business expansion.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across operations, product, and regional functions to design and deliver tailored solutions that meet the unique requirements of each customer.
  • Represent the company at local industry events, trade functions, and community activities to strengthen brand presence and market positioning.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with global and regional teams to optimize product offerings, streamline processes, and introduce innovative service solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and internal governance requirements relevant to the Indonesian logistics and shipping industry.
What Youll Need...
  • Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Management, International Business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on operational and/or commercial management experience in a similar role. Experience within a NVOCC is preferred, though candidates from a freight forwarding background will also be considered.
  • Proven experience managing teams of 40+ staff, with a track record in staff training, supervision, motivation, and retention.
  • Deep knowledge of daily operations, customer service, and documentation processes related to ocean export/import and airfreight.
  • Strong understanding of local and international governmental, Customs, security, carrier, and hazardous cargo regulations.
  • Proficient in general accounting principles, budget formulation and analysis, KPIs, rate guidelines, and profit and loss statements.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify growth opportunities, drive business development initiatives, negotiate contracts, and manage key client relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written English, with strong organizational, managerial, and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage effectively with internal teams, clients, and senior management.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, customer-service-focused environment. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
