Job description

Manage the day-to-day finance operations of the mill and take leadership around the financial activities at the site.

Manage the process of accounting, finance, cash flow, credit control and taxation for Thailand entities together with the Finance Director

Ensure controls are in place at the operations and in accordance to company policy and corporate governance.

Managing all finance and accounting operations.

Financial Planning and Analysis

Budgeting: Developing, managing, and monitoring the organization’s annual budgets, ensuring that financial resources are allocated effectively.

Forecasting: Projecting future financial performance based on historical data, market trends, and business strategies.

Financial Modeling: Creating models to evaluate business decisions, investment opportunities, and strategic initiatives.

Variance Analysis: Analyzing discrepancies between actual and budgeted financial performance and providing insights into the reasons for those variances.

Financial Reporting Preparation and Presentation

Preparation of Financial Statements: Ensuring accurate and timely preparation of key financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Presentation of the Financial results with insightful information and able to explain the key variance vs. Budget and Last Year.

Compliance: Ensuring that all financial reports comply with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Internal and External Reporting: Presenting financial performance to senior management and external stakeholders (e.g., investors, auditors, tax authorities).

Cash Flow Management

Monitoring Cash Flow: Ensuring the company has enough liquidity to meet its operational needs and making adjustments to cash flow as necessary.

Managing Working Capital: Monitoring and managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory levels to maintain optimal working capital.

Funding Management: Overseeing short-term and long-term financing needs, ensuring the company has the necessary funding to meet its operational and growth objectives.

Cost Management and Control

Cost Reduction: Identifying areas where the company can reduce costs or improve efficiency.

Expense Monitoring: Analyzing and controlling business expenses, ensuring expenditures align with the approved budget.

Profitability Analysis: Assessing the profitability of various projects, departments, or products to help direct focus on the most profitable ventures.

Financial Risk Assessment: Identifying, evaluating, and mitigating financial risks that could affect the business.

Internal Controls: Implementing and monitoring internal control procedures to protect assets, prevent fraud, and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.

Compliance and Regulations: Staying updated on financial regulations and ensuring the organization complies with all relevant laws and standards.

Strategic Decision-Making Support

Business Strategy: Providing financial insights and recommendations to guide the organization's overall business strategy, expansion, and growth.

Investment Analysis: Evaluating investment opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, capital expenditures, and new ventures.

Financial Advice: Offering expert advice on financial decisions, such as financing options, risk-taking, and budgeting strategies.

Partner with Production Leads and Commercial Heads to drive the business growth and smooth business operation.

Team Leadership and Collaboration

Managing the Finance Team: Leading and mentoring the finance department, ensuring staff are well-trained and motivated.

Delegate tasks and manage the workload within the accounting department to meet deadlines.

Conduct performance reviews and support professional development.

Collaboration with Other Departments: Working closely with other departments (e.g., HR, operations, marketing) to align financial goals with broader organizational objectives.

Tax Management

Tax Planning and Compliance: Overseeing tax strategy, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and minimizing tax liabilities.

Tax Reporting: Ensuring that the company’s tax returns are accurately prepared and filed in a timely manner.

Audit and Governance

Internal and External Audits: Coordinating with internal and external auditors to ensure transparency and accuracy in financial reporting.

Governance: Establishing strong financial governance frameworks to ensure proper financial management and accountability.

Performance Metrics

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Developing and tracking financial KPIs to monitor business performance.

Benchmarking: Comparing financial performance against industry standards and competitors to identify areas for improvement.

Other related tasks as appointed by the management

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Willing to be placed in Anyer, Banten

Bachelor or Master Degree in Accounting / Professional Accounting qualifications or similar.

Excellent writing and speaking skills in both English and Bahasa

Proficient in MS-Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and other financial software systems.

Minimum12 years’ accounting/Finance experience with at least 8 years in managerial levels

In-depth knowledge of International accounting standards, Accounting Legislation including Taxation

Self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills

Good Leadership and management skill

Ability to guide and train site personnel in aspects of accounting and finance
