Job summary

Grab seeks an experienced accounting professional to oversee daily accounting, reporting, and control activities for multiple lines of business in Jakarta. This role emphasizes AI and automation, challenging manual processes to drive efficiency.

You will be an individual contributor reporting to the Country Controller Manager, performing month-end close and ensuring PSAK/IFRS compliance in a fast-paced onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting; 3+ years' experience (tech industry preferred).
• PSAK, IFRS, Advanced Excel, ERP systems (e.g., Oracle).
• Proven track record using AI or automation to refine workflows (with examples).
• Methodical and detail-conscious, with flexibility in changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close and manual journals; review P&L, balance sheet, and reconciliations for accuracy under PSAK/IFRS.
• Enforce financial controls, identify process gaps, and serve as main audit point of contact by preparing schedules and resolving auditor inquiries.
• Use AI and automation tools (e.g., Python, SQL, Excel macros) to eliminate manual efforts across reporting, reconciliations, and audit workflows.
• Partner with Operations, FP&A, Tax, SSC, and Regional Accounting to resolve issues and guide ERP or system standardization projects.
