PT Applus Energi dan Industri is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Costing Manager to support the finance team in Bekasi. The role involves product costing, variance analysis, and improving inventory processes while collaborating cross-functionally. Ideal candidates should possess a degree in accounting or finance and have significant experience in costing management within a manufacturing environment.
Applus+ Indonesia is currently hiring for a Costing Manager that will be based in Bekasi area. We’re seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Costing Manager to join the finance team and support data-driven decision-making through accurate and timely product costing and analysis.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain standard product costing for all manufacturing processes.
Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs; perform variance analysis and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
Support pricing decisions and profitability analysis by providing accurate cost data.
Manage inventory valuation and ensure accurate reporting of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
Lead month-end and year-end closing activities related to costing and inventory.
Maintain and update the fixed asset register, ensuring proper capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and disposals.
Coordinate physical asset counts and reconciliation processes across departments.
Monitor asset utilization, support CapEx planning, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Procurement, Engineering, Operations) for accurate BOMs, routings, and asset tracking.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in costing management in a manufacturing environment as manager.
Strong knowledge of standard costing, variance analysis, inventory control, and fixed asset accounting.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and good communication skills.
Able to work cross-functionally and lead improvements in costing and asset-related processes.
