Job Description
  • Provide Critical Assessment Of All Budgets And Cost Projections Of Capital Expenditure
  • Assess All Incoming Products, Resources, And Services To Ensure Best Price And Specification
  • Demonstrate A Comprehensive Understanding Of The Inter-dependency Of Cost Drivers
  • Work Seamlessly With Multi-disciplinary Teams, Both Internal And External
  • Remain Acutely Aware Of Market Trends That Could Impact Resource Costs
  • Develop And Implement Proactive Solutions And Cost-cutting Measures
  • Engage And Manage Third Party Quantity Surveyor Contracts
  • Perform And Manage Tender Activity Scheduling And Monitoring
  • Manage Supplier Relationships To Ensure That The Company Is Receiving Quality Products At Competitive Prices
  • Manage And Coordinate Complete Financial Cycle Such As Vendor Purchase Orders, Cost Proposals And Invoices
  • Assist In Developing Reporting Tracking Tools And Generate Cost Reports On Regular Basis Including Evaluation Of Earned Value
  • Validate The Final Award Amount And Scope Based On Contract Documents Including Schedule
  • Support The Construction Team With Project Close-out And Final Payments
Requirement
  • Minimum Bachelors level in Engineering / Construction Management / Finance
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as cost control, specifically in High Rise Building or Project Construction
  • Technically strong in project cost planning, scheduling and reporting
  • Good understanding and awareness of civil, mechanical & electrical
  • Project Management qualification or training in the Engineering and Construction industry will be an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written English
  • Adept in communicating with both internal and external stakeholders - colleagues, consultants, contractors, clients, authorities, etc on process and timelines
  • Proficient in use of MS Office suite of programs
