Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Estimator to join our team at PT Anugerah Mekanika Sukses Abadi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for manufacturing, fabrication, or construction projects. This role requires strong technical knowledge, the ability to interpret engineering drawings, and excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams such as engineering, procurement, and production. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our project proposals are both competitive and profitable.

Job Description

1. Prepare accurate cost estimates for manufacturing, fabrication, or construction projects based on technical drawings, specifications, and client requirements
2. Analyze material costs, labor, production processes, and lead times
3. Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to gather technical information and cost components
4. Develop detailed Bill of Quantity (BOQ), cost breakdowns, and pricing proposals for clients
5. Ensure that cost estimates are accurate, competitive, and submitted within deadlines
6. Continuously update material pricing, labor rates, and production costs to maintain estimate accuracy

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
2. Minimum 1-2 years experience as a Cost Estimator, preferably in manufacturing, fabrication, or construction industries
3. Strong understanding of manufacturing or fabrication processes (welding, machining, assembly, etc.)
4. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings (2D/3D)
5. Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or any estimating software is an advantage
6. Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
7. Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
