Company overview:

Our client is a private company headquartered in India, operating in the mining industry, particularly coal mining. The operations are located in Kutai Barat, East Kalimantan, covering a 5000 Ha concession area, and have been operational since April 2010.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement CSR programs to support community development, environmental sustainability, and social welfare.
• Engage with local communities, government agencies, and stakeholders to address social and environmental concerns.
• Ensure compliance with mining regulations, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards, and corporate policies.
• Plan and oversee community development projects, such as education, healthcare, and infrastructure support.
• Conduct social impact assessments and risk analyses to minimize negative effects of mining activities.
• Monitor and report on CSR initiatives, preparing presentations and reports for management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with environmental and safety teams to promote sustainable mining practices.
• Handle conflict resolution and grievance mechanisms for community concerns.
• Organize public consultations, stakeholder meetings, and CSR-related events.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging sustainability trends.
