About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the legal team at our company, a leading global maritime company. As a Secretary & Corporate Legal, you will play a vital role in supporting the company's legal operations and corporate governance initiatives. Working in a full-time position based in South Jakarta, you will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative and legal support to the legal department.

What you'll be doing

1. Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the legal team, including diary management, meeting coordination, and document preparation.
2. Assist with the drafting, review, and filing of legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and corporate records.
3. Conduct research and gather information to support the legal department's work.
4. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and regulatory bodies, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
5. Contribute to the development and maintenance of the company's legal policies and procedures.
6. Provide support for corporate governance activities, such as the preparation of board meeting materials and the coordination of shareholder events.
7. Perform other administrative duties as required to support the efficient operation of the legal department.

What we're looking for

1. Must be a law graduate with a minimum GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00.
2. At least 5 years of experience in a legal secretary or corporate support role, preferably within the maritime or legal services industry.
3. Strong proficiency in office software, including Microsoft Office suite and legal document management systems.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
5. Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
6. A proactive and customer-oriented approach, with a commitment to providing high-quality support.
7. A passion for learning and a willingness to adapt to the evolving needs of the business.
