Job summary

OCBC Indonesia is seeking a detail-oriented legal professional to join our Group Operations and Technology team. This role focuses on delivering quality banking services through handling operational activities related to financial and non-financial transactions, in line with bank regulations and policies.

Responsibilities include drafting Credit and Security Agreements, liaising with Notaries, reviewing collateral documentation, and advising the Business Unit on credit matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law from a reputable university.
• GPA 3.00 minimum from a recognized university.
• At least 2 years of experience in a related role; drafting Credit/Loan Agreements is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Credit Agreement and Security Agreement in private or notarial contexts based on approved Credit Proposal by Credit Committee.
• Review Security Agreements prepared by the Notary to ensure perfect pledge of collaterals.
• Handle and monitor collateral reports (land certificate, FTO, Ship Motgages).
• Provide legal advice to Business Unit on credit matters and/or collateral.
• Liaise with the Notary for signing Deed of Credit Agreement and Deed of Security Agreement.
• Prepare and review borrower AOAs.

How You Succeed:

This position is fully responsible for delivering quality banking services as well as carrying out operational activities related to financial and non-financial transactions in accordance with applicable bank regulations and policies.

What You Do:

1. Preparing Credit Agreement and Security Agreement in private or notarial, based on Credit Proposal approved by Credit Committee.
2. Reviewing Security Agreements prepared by the Notary and to ensure that the collaterals shall be perfectly pledged to the Bank.
3. Handling and monitoring some collaterals report such as land certificate, FTO, and Ship Motgages.
4. Providing legal advice to Business Unit in relation to credit matters and/or collateral.
5. Liaise with the Notary for the arrangement to the signing of Deed of Credit Agreement and Deed of Security Agreement.
6. Preparing and conducting review to the summary of AOA of the borrowers.
7. To ensure the credit and security documentations shall be performed and accurately executed according to the prevailing laws, regulations, and Credit Proposal as approved by Credit Committee.

Who You Are:

1. Minimum bachelor's degree (S1) in Law.
2. Minimum GPA of 3.00 from reputable university.
3. Minimum 2 years of experiences in a related position. Familiar with drafting of Credit/Loan Agreement will be strong advantage.
4. Strong communication, coordination, and administrative skills.
