Job description

We are seeking a Corporate Communications Executive to profile the Association as a credible voice of the shipping industry, by producing compelling content to engage our members and other stakeholders. Reporting to the Head of Communications & Membership, this role requires solid writing and editorial skills, a flair for corporate storytelling and messaging, and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

What you will do:

·Manage production of monthly members’ newsletter: shape editorial angles, produce story content, handle graphics and layout, work with internal stakeholders and manage external vendors (if necessary) to deliver on time and with quality. You will also be required to track campaign performance, and track fulfillment of advertisements.

·Brand Guardianship: co-maintain SSA image (photo and video) library and ensure consistent quality of visual and written communication across the organisation

·Marketing Communication: produce collaterals for SSA events and other corporate assets like corporate presentations, banners and other templates

·Content Creation: produce high quality, on message content (copy and visuals) for SSA’s communication channels (website and socials) and publications such as the annual report.

·Media Relations: draft media materials such as talking points, interview briefing documents, press releases and media factsheets. Assist in implementation of SSA’s earned media strategy.

·Editorial and Messaging: conduct research, develop messaging and draft speeches and presentations that profile the Association’s council and management as thought leaders in the maritime space
