Job Description
  • Manage and lead the contract management team and activities, coordinating with other divisions such as Engineering, Construction, Project Control, & Procurement.
  • Analyze the goods/services required by the project in terms of technical specifications, quality, schedule, and budget and carry out the tender process with the schedule and needs of project activities.
  • Develop, analyze, and evaluate in cooperation with the Legal department to develop contract templates.
  • Coordinate with the Engineering, Construction, & Project Control team to conduct a Kick Off Meeting prior to the execution of the Contract to ensure that the implementation of the contract is understood and as agreed in the Tender decision and stated in the Contract.
  • Monitor payment activities in coordination with Project Control, Finance, Accounting, Tax Team with the vendors to ensure compliance.
  • Carry out continuous improvement in the Contract function to create a strategic, effective, and efficient workflow.
  • Analyze and evaluate the bid proposals received for the goods/services needed by the project as per the project's schedule and in order to achieve cost efficiency in accordance with the project budget allocation.
Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Mining Engineering, Business Administration, Law, or related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Construction Project Contract Management with managerial roles exposure, preferably with experience in smelter projects.
  • Excellent negotiation and people management skills.
  • Knowledgeable in construction contracts, tax regulations, and the legal framework.
