Job Description:

We are looking for a Content Strategist with strong Mandarin language skills to support our content planning and development efforts across digital platforms. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for storytelling, digital marketing, and cross-cultural communication.

As a Junior Content Strategist, you'll help shape content that resonates with both Mandarin-speaking and international audiences, working closely with writers, designers, marketers, and translators. You will assist in developing content calendars, conducting audience research, and optimizing content for performance across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the creation and execution of content strategies for Mandarin-speaking markets
  • Collaborate with writers, editors, and designers to develop engaging content across formats (articles, social media, video scripts, website, etc.)
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and audience behavior
  • Assist in planning and managing bilingual content calendars (Mandarin & English)
  • Help localize global content to suit regional cultural and linguistic nuances
  • Optimize content for SEO and social media performance
  • Track content performance using analytics tools and provide recommendations
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand tone, style, and messaging
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience in content strategy, digital marketing, editorial, or a related field
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English (written and verbal)
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills in both languages
  • Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress)
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and social media strategy
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously
  • A portfolio or writing samples showcasing previous work in content creation or strategy
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (design, marketing, product)
  • Interest in technology, B2B SaaS, or digital platforms
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Hootsuite
  • Background in copywriting, journalism, or communications is a plus
