Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Supervisor to join our on-site team for the construction phase of a Small-Scale LNG project. Reporting directly to the Site Construction Manager, the Construction Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating construction activities to ensure they are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and schedules. This role requires strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of construction methodologies within the oil and gas sector (preferably LNG), and strong site coordination & communication abilities.

Construction Supervision

1. Assist the Site Manager in planning, directing, and coordinating on-site construction activities, including civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation works.
2. Monitor progress against the project schedule for assigned work areas, identify potential delays and proactively work with contractors and the Site Manager to implement mitigation measures.
3. Oversee and manage subcontractors and vendors.
4. Monitor and ensure that all construction activities are performed in accordance with project quality standards, specifications, and approved procedures, participate in quality control inspections and address any non-conformances.
5. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.
6. Maintain clear and effective communication with the Site Manager, project team, subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
7. Provide technical guidance and support to contractors and craft personnel, interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions to ensure proper execution of work.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical background is preferred).
2. At least 8 years' site experience in the construction of EPC Projects.
3. Proven experience in LNG or similar process plant construction projects.
4. Strong understanding of construction methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
5. Sound knowledge of commissioning principles and procedures.
6. Excellent knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards.
7. Working well under pressure.
8. Working self-reliantly.
9. Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
10. Goal-oriented, dynamic, and high sense of responsibility.
11. Team player with strong work ethic and disciplined approach.
12. Good written and verbal English skills.
