Job Description for Technical Sales and Specification Specialist

Develop product and/or system specifications in anti-corrosion projects at key influencer levels through face-to-face meetings or technical seminars. Forge positive synergy with the commercial and marketing departments. Provide feedback on product and sales tools gaps.

Grow Business Unit sales and profits:

  • Prioritize target geographies/countries and design institutes.
  • Build project lists and take ownership to generate growth.
  • Create and identify opportunities to optimize the core business and product portfolio.
  • Conduct technical presentations to professional groups and influencers.
  • Specify OYH Hamgar products and systems in key petro-chemical, energy, mining, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
  • Adapt value propositions of new products and process innovations for the local market.
  • Work closely with sales teams and channels during specification selling activities.
  • Interact with HQ Technical & R&D experts to offer technical solutions to users.
  • Act as an interface between local distributors and OYH's commercial team.
  • Keep abreast of product approvals, codes, and standards development.
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of local construction codes, architectural preferences, and the competitive landscape to assist distributors and Grace in developing winning programs and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other Business Units to identify synergies and implement profitable growth opportunities.
  • Stay informed about new products or systems, especially in geotextile and waterproofing, via respective product groups.
